Appeal After Child Struck By Car In West Belfast

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a child was struck by a car in west Belfast on the morning of Monday, 29 April.

A six-year-old boy was struck by a car at the junction of Tennent Street and Shankill Road at around 8.55am.

The child was taken to hospital for treatment to head injuries which are said to be "serious but not life-threatening".

Sergeant Irwin said: "We would appeal to anyone who was in the area, who may have witnessed the collision with a grey Hyundai i35, to contact police.

"We would particularly appeal to anyone who may have dashcam or other footage available.

"The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1067 of 29/04/24."

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the death of a child in a road traffic collision. According to reports, the child died after a collision on the Rowreagh Road in Kirkcubbin at around 8.20 on Monday 30 August. It is understood that the male child was struck by a car.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a one-vehicle road traffic collision in Donaghadee on Thursday, 23 November. Just before 8pm, it was reported to police that a white Toyota Auris had collided with a man in the The Meadows area.

Man Charged After Three Children Struck By Car In West Belfast
A 37-year-old man has been charged after three children were struck by a car in west Belfast on Sunday, 24 August. The charges relate to a road traffic collision that occurred shortly before 5pm in the Black Ridge View area, where a car reversing on the pavement hit two girls and a boy.

Arrest As Children Struck By Car In West Belfast
A man has been arrested after two children were struck by a car in west Belfast. The boys, aged six and 12, were crossing the Andersonstown Road on Saturday evening, 05 October, when they were knocked down by a white Vauxhall Insignia.
