Man Has Parts Of Both Ears Bitten Off During Assault

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an incident in which a man had a part of each ear bitten off.

The incident occurred at a licensed premises in the High Street area of Antrim, shortly before 12.10am on Sunday 12th May.

The victim, a man aged in his late teens, was treated in his hospital for his injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or has mobile phone footage. The number to call is 101 quoting reference 21 of 12/05/24.

Police Name Crossmaglen Murder Victim As Michael McConville
A man found dead at a house in Crossmaglen on the evening of Saturday, 15 June, has been named as 74-year-old Michael McConville. Mr McConville was found in a house in the Annaghmare Road area shortly after 7pm when police officers responded to a report of the death of a man at the address.

Appeal For Information Following Belfast Stabbing
Detectives have appealed for information following the report of a stabbing incident at College Square East in Belfast City Centre. On Wednesday 12 June, the PSNI stated that there is reason to believe an altercation involving three men occurred in the area shortly before 4.30pm, which resulted in one of the men sustaining a stab wound to his neck.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.
