Man Charged With Drug Offences Following Strabane Seizure
Police in Strabane have charged a 26-year-old man with several offences following a seizure of suspected Class A drugs on Tuesday, 01 October.
The man faces charges including possession of Class A controlled drugs with intent to supply, possession of Class A controlled drugs, and a range of driving offences. He is scheduled to appear before Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 02 October. All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service as per standard procedure.
A 26-year-old woman has also been arrested in connection with the investigation. She is suspected of possession of Class A controlled drugs with intent to supply and possession of Class A controlled drugs. She remains in custody at this time.
The PSNI has encouraged anyone who witnesses suspicious activity to report it by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency. Reports can also be made online at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. Anonymous reports can be made to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org/.
