Three Injured In South Belfast After Serious Collision

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a serious two-car collision in the Finaghy Road North area of south Belfast, during which three people were injured.

A report was made to police on Monday, 14 July, around 1.30pm that a Seat Arona and Honda Civic had collided near the Ardmore Park junction.

The driver of the Honda Civic, who is a man in his 30s, the other driver, aged in his 70s, and his passenger, who is in her late 60s., were all taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: "We are investigating the circumstances leading up to this collision in this residential area. We would appeal to anyone who was in the area, who may have witnessed this or the events leading up to it, to contact us. We are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a third car, possibly white in colour, seen in the area at the time of the collision.

"Any dash-cam or doorbell footage covering Finaghy Road North or the surrounding area would also be useful to our enquiries."

Man Bailed Over Fatal Road Collision In Liverpool
A man arrested in connection with a fatal road collision in Liverpool has been released on bail. Matthew Bradley, from Glenavy in Co Antrim, was killed in a crash in The Strand on Friday, 03 November. A 22-year-old man was arrested, however he has been conditionally bailed until December. The driver made off from the scene.

Woman Dies Following Collision In Co Antrim
A 27-year-old woman has died after she sustained serious injuries in a car crash in county Antrim earlier this month. The one-vehicle collision occurred on the Glenravel Road area in Cargan on 11 September. The woman was the driver of a white Hyundai car. She died in hospital on Wednesday night, according to the police.

Toddler Dies In Tragic Accident In Aghalee
An investigation has launched after a three-year-old boy died following an accident involving a car near his home in Co Armagh. The collision occurred on the Boghead Bridge Road, Aghalee, just outside Lurgan on Tuesday, 25 May. The toddler was treated at the scene before being taken to Craigavon Area Hospital.

Delivery Driver Robbed In North Belfast
A delivery driver has been robbed after a man, pointed a suspected gun at him, in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Ballysillan area shortly after 3am on Friday, 16 February. The suspect approached the driver and pointed what is believed to have been a gun at him and demanded he hand over his money.
