Man Seriously Injured In Lurgan Altercation
A man is in a life-threatening condition following a serious incident at licensed premises in Lurgan.
The altercation occurred at around 12.55am on Sunday 19th October.
A man, aged in his 50s, sustained a serious head injury.
Detective Inspector Handley said: "The man had been attempting to re-enter licensed premises in the William Street area when he became aggressive towards two members of door staff.
"It's understood the door staff pushed the man back, who then fell and struck his head on the ground.
"They provided medical treatment to the man who was then taken onward to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
"Our enquiries are continuing today into the exact circumstances of what happened. Anyone who noticed what happened is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 75 19/10/25.
"We would also be keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or mobile footage of what happened that we could review."

A man is being treated in hospital after being assaulted in east Belfast. The incident happened outside licensed premises in the Upper Newtownards Road area at around 1.30am on Sunday, 04 February.
