Four Charged Following Assault On Tourists In Belfast
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed that charges have been brought against four people following an incident involving the assault of two male tourists in Belfast city centre on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.
The four individuals—two men and two women—were arrested following the attack and are scheduled to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court later today, Thursday, 30 October 2025.
The charges laid against them are as follows: • A 34-year-old man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, and disorderly behaviour.
• A 28-year-old man faces charges of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
• A 38-year-old woman has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
• A 22-year-old woman has been charged with common assault and disorderly behaviour.
As is the standard procedure in all cases, the charges brought by the police will be subject to a final review by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Man to appear in court following Lisburn robbery
An 18-year-old man is due to appear in Lisburn Magistrates Court today, charged with robbery and grievous bodily harm. The charge is believed to be in relation to an incident in the Benson Street area of the town yesterday afternoon, when a woman was assaulted and robbed.
