Farrans Sacyr JV has been recognised at the National Federation of Builders (NFB) Awards, winning Inspiring Future Infrastructure Project of the Year for Belfast Grand Central Station, delivered for client Translink.
The team also received a Highly Commended in the Excellence in Sustainable Construction category. The accolades highlight the prominence of this flagship transport scheme.
The awards acknowledge the joint venture's commitment to innovation, collaboration and best practice throughout delivery. Belfast City Council has announced a free festive programme throughout the city centre in the lead up to Christmas. As part of the initiative, local musical acts and bands will showcase their talents on the city's streets, providing free pop-up performances and gigs for shoppers and revellers at various outdoor locations on selected dates.

The completion of these major works has been achieved just in time for the city's busy festive period.
