Motorcyclist Dies After Two-Vehicle Crash Near Cushendall
Police have confirmed that a man from the Bellaghy area died at the scene of a serious collision on Chapel Road, Cushendall, on Sunday 28 June. Detectives are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage as enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Stewart, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Shortly before one pm, police received and responded to a report of a two vehicle collision on the Chapel Road.
"Colleagues from other emergency services were also in attendance.
"Sadly, the male rider of a motorcycle, who was 55 years old, and from the Bellaghy area, died at the scene.
"The Chapel Road, which was closed in both directions as enquiries were conducted, has now re-opened to motorists.
"Enquiries remain ongoing this morning, and we are appealing to anyone with information about the collision, or who has dash-cam footage of what happened, to contact police using our witness appeal form at reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals quoting reference 863 28/06/26, or call us on 101."

Three Police Officers Injured In Collision
The Police Ombudsman's Office has appealed for witnesses after a police Land Rover was involved in a collision with an oncoming car on the Glenshane Road near Maghera, shortly after 6am this morning. The female driver of the car, a silver-coloured Volkswagen Golf, has been taken to hospital, but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Man Arrested Over 1975 Bomb Attack
A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal bomb attack on a bar on the Shankill Road over 36 years ago. Five people were killed and 60 others were injured in the attack at Mountainview Tavern on 5 April 1975. The 54-year-old is being questioned at Antrim police station.

Two people have been charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Ballycastle on 06 April. Johnny Black 19, and Robin Wilson, 24, were killed in the collision which happened on the Cushendall Road. A 50-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman are due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday 27 July.
