Detectives Seek Witnesses After Serious Assault In Newtownards
Detectives are seeking witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Newtownards in the early hours of Sunday, 28 June.
At approximately 3am, it was reported that the victim was attacked by several males in the James Street area of the town.
He is believed to have been repeatedly struck with blunt instruments and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his arms, legs and head. The attackers left the scene in a car, travelling along Balfour Street.
An investigation is under way and detectives are appealing for information and dash-cam or CCTV footage. Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 278 28/06/26. Detectives have launched an appeal for information following a violent assault in Crossgar during the early hours of Monday, 12 January. The PSNI received a report of the incident at approximately 2.50am in the Downpatrick Street area. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man who had suffered several injuries.

Appeal For Information On Serious Assault In Rasharkin
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an assault in Rasharkin on the night of Sunday, 16 April. Just after 10pm a man was found unconscious at the rear of the licensed premises in the Main Street area of the village. The man, aged in his 50s, remains in a critical condition in hospital.
