Two men stabbed in Belfast
Detectives in south Belfast have appealed for information after two men were stabbed close to the Dublin Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A group of friends - two young men and women - were walking from Ormeau Avenue towards the Dublin Road at around 2.10am when they were approached by a group of six males.
The two male victims were then stabbed and one of the females was punched in the throat. One of the men sustained a stab wound to his abdomen and a severe laceration to his head while the other man sustained a stab wound to the abdomen and a stab wound to one of his arms.
Both men, aged 18 and 24, were conveyed to hospital for treatment, however, their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The group of six males then walked off in the direction of the Cromac Street/Ormeau Avenue.
Anyone who was in the Dublin Road area and who either witnessed the incident or who saw a group of six males acting suspiciously is urged to contact detectives at Musgrave Street on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Renewed Appeal For Help Tracing Paula Elliott
The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Paula Elliott, who was last seen on Tuesday, 05 March. The 52-year-old was last seen on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.
