Armed man in fast food outlet robbery

Police in Antrim are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a fast food outlet at the Junction One shopping area on the town.

At around 8.45am on Tuesday, a man armed with a gun entered the premises and demanded money. The robber, who was wearing a black hooded top and had a green coloured scarf covering his face, fled the scene with a sum of cash.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Meadowlands area, to come forward as soon as possible.

Police Appeal Over Attempted Armed Robbery In Ballymena
Police are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery at a shop in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The incident occurred at a shop in the Larne Road area just after 7.40pm on Wednesday. A masked man armed with a knife demanded a staff member to open the till. However, the employee threw water over him and he made off empty handed.

Police have launched an investigation following a suspected armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Co Antrim. The incident happened at Subway in the Kingsway area in Dunmurry on Sunday. The man, who told workers that he had a knife in his pocket, threatened staff and stole a sum of money from a till.

Armed robbery in north Belfast
Police in north Belfast have appealed for information following the armed robbery of a delivery van this morning. The incident happened shortly after 10.30am in the Antrim Road area of the city, when three men – one armed with a wheel brace - approached and threatened the delivery staff. The thieves then made off with a quantity of cigarettes.
