Man released after weapons find
A man who was arrested in connection with with the discovery of a quantity of ammunition at the weekend, has been released without charge, a PSNI spokesperson has today confirmed.
The arrest was made on Friday evening after a number of proactive police searches in the area when a shotgun, ammunition and a number of petrol bombs were recovered.
It has been reported that the weapons were found after a stand-off between rival UDA members, just hours after the paramilitary organisation announced that it had appointed a new leadership in north Belfast.
Police have said that the investigation will continue.

Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.
