Woman released over pensioner murder probe

A woman arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of a County Down pensioner has been released without charge.

Yesterday, two people, a man and a woman, were arrested by police investigating the murder of 77-year-old Tilly Campbell who was found dead at her home in the Barnagh Park area of Donaghadee on October 9.

The man was later released without charge.

Mrs Campbell's body was discovered by fire-fighters who had been called to the scene after receiving reports of a fire at the property.

Last week, a man appeared in court charged with the murder.
