Man stabbed in north Belfast
Detectives in north Belfast have appealed for information following a serious assault in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened at Maeve House in the New Lodge area of the city shortly before 1.30am.
A man aged in his late 30's was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his head.
His injuries are said to be serious, but not life threatening.
One man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Detectives have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the attack, or have any noticed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Shot In Legs In Co Armagh
A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Four People Stabbed In Co Down
Four people have been injured in a stabbing attack in Co Down. The incident happened at a house in the Queens Park area of Saintfield at around 3.40am on Sunday, 11 March. A woman sustained serious injuries and is receiving hospital treatment. Three men were also taken to hospital to be treated.

Man Killed In Farming Incident
A man has died in a farming accident in Co Fermanagh. The victim, 71, is thought to have been attacked by cattle on his farm near Ballinamallard. The incident happened over the weekend. An investigation is now being carried out by the Health and Safety Executive.
