John Henderson's RoI business sold to Mangan Wholesale

John Henderson (Ireland) are to transfer all of their wholesale business in the Republic of Ireland to Mangan Wholesale.

This follows the 2001 joint venture with Mangan Wholesale who took on the development of the VIVO brand in Munster and Connaught.

At that time, they also introduced a delivery service to John Henderson (Ireland) retailers in Leinster, and that part of Ulster that lies within the Republic.

John Agnew, Chairman of the John Henderson Group, said: "We are convinced that this transfer of business will ensure a more rapid development of the VIVO Brand in the Republic.

"Mangans have exciting plans to invest in the VIVO Brand with a view to actively marketing it in all 26 counties, and we will continue to proactively market the VIVO brand in Northern Ireland. This joint approach by both companies will ensure that the VIVO brand will be further strengthened by the implementation of such an all Ireland marketing strategy."
