Top marketing accolade for Belfast company

The Prontaprint centre on the Lisburn Road in Belfast has been granted Superbrands status by the independent board of marketing and branding experts, the Superbrands Council.

This accolade in brand recognition was bestowed upon the company after being identified as one of the exceptional business brands around the world.

Commenting on his centre's new business, owner Fred Hanna said: "Prontaprint is the longest established and best known print-on-demand brand in Europe and I am delighted that it has been recognised in this way. It is exciting to be part of a company that has established an unrivalled reputation over the past thirty years."

As a result, Prontaprint will now appear in the Superbrands book dedicated to business-to-business (B2B) branding, which identifies over 50 of the strongest B2B brands in Britain.

Marcel Knobil, Chairperson of the Superbrands organisation, said: "The Council selected Prontaprint for its innovation as well as its reliability. Its technical expertise was also recognised as well as its reputation for fulfilling its promise of offering customers cost-effective solutions in the complex and ever changing world of digital design, print and copy. One of the most significant reasons for being selected however was its ability and focus on building long-term relationships amongst business clients."

The Superbrands book is available through major book retailers and high profile shop windows are dedicated to Business Superbrands. These include Blackwell's books, Waterstones and Zwemmer.

Prontaprint have also been saluted at this year's Superbrands tribute launch event in London, the only ceremony exclusive to the branding industry.
