Three Charged Over Baby's Death
Three people have been charged over the death of a four-month-old baby girl in Birmingham on New Year's Eve 2008. A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder and is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this afternoon, while a 20-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man have both been charged with neglect and ill treatment of a child and are due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on September 14. All three were immediately arrested after the death of the baby, who cannot be named for legal reasons. A post-mortem revealed that the child died after a trauma to her head. She had a fractured skull and other injuries including fractures and bruising.
Fourth Man Charged Over Tyneside Shooting
Police investigating a shooting in North Tyneside last month have charged a fourth man in connection with the incident. Paul Borg, 25, suffered leg wounds in the incident, which happened in Quay View, Willington Quay in Wallsend on August 19. Kelvin Croney, 28, of Hebburn, South Shields, has been charged with conspiracy to murder and is due to appear before North Tyneside Magistrates Court. Three other men - Terry March, 30, Philip Croney, 22 and Michael Curran, 30, all from Wallsend - were remanded in custody at North Tyneside Magistrates Court on August 27. Police Appeal Over Missing Teenager
Police in Lincolnshire are appealing for information about a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from her home in Gainsborough since last week. Brianny Webster has not been seen since around 8pm on September 1. She is described as being about 5ft 6ins tall, with strawberry blonde hair, which can look ginger in some lights. When last seen, she was wearing blue tracksuit bottoms, a brown zip-up jacket and white trainers. It is thought she may be in the Lincoln area. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on: 0300 111 0300.

Mobile Customers To Share £1m Refund
Mobile provide EE is to refund around £1m to a number of customers wrongly charged VAT between October 2012 and October 2014. It is understood that EE customers who travelled outside the EU during those dates and used internet data were affected by the charges. The company estimated it as being about 0.5% of its customers.

Teenager remanded over sister's death
A 14-year-old girl from West Yorkshire has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of her 16-year-old sister. The teenager appeared before Bradford Magistrates' Court on Thursday. She has been remanded into the care of the local authority and is due to appear before Calderdale Youth Court in Halifax on April 4.

A British man wanted for questioning in connection with the failed London bomb attacks on July 21 is to be extradited to the UK within 35 days, an Italian court has ruled. Osman Hussein (27) will appeal the decision to the Italian Supreme court, according to his lawyers.

Four demonstrators have appeared in court charged with violence against police after breaking away from their designated protest areas in Bolton on Saturday. Daniel McNulty, 25, of Cypress Road, Normanton, West Yorkshire was charged with a public order offence and bailed to appear at Bolton Magistrates' Court on 9 April.
