Winehouse Funeral Takes Place

The family of Amy Winehouse have held a private service for the grammy award winning singer in north London.

Up to 200 people attended the 45-minute Jewish service led by a rabbi.

Familiar faces in the funeral congregation included musician Mark Ronson and Kelly Osbourne.

The road along Edgwarebury Cemetery is lined with fans and photographers, some sporting the famous Amy Winehouse beehive hairstyle as a tribute.

The star will be cremated after the service and family will gather at a local synagogue in Golders Green.

Amy's body was discovered on Saturday in her home in Camden, north London.

Appeal Issued After Two Boys Forced To Carry Out Sexual Assault
Police are appealing for information after two boys were forced off a London bus and made to commit a robbery and a sexual assault. It is understood the man approached two young teenage boys travelling on a route 133 London bus and threatened them with a knife. The man is said to have forced the boys off the bus and into a park at Newington Butts.

Funeral For Stabbed Model Amy
The funeral of a teenage model stabbed to death in Greater Manchester is due to take place today. Amy Leigh Barnes, 19, died on 8 November. She had been found injured at her home in Farnworth, Bolton. She was taken to hospital but later died. Post mortem results concluded the 19-year-old died as a result of stab wounds.

Police Quiz Amy Winehouse Over Alleged Assault
Soul singer Amy Winehouse is due to be questioned by police over an alleged assault. A spokesman for Ms Winehouse, 24, said she would voluntarily attend a central London police station on Friday. He said she would be questioned "in connection with an alleged incident" which occurred in Camden in the early hours of April 23.
