Sausage Machines Stolen In Newcastle

Police are appealing for information after three sausage machines were stolen in a burglary in Gateshead. The incident happened between 4.30pm on Friday last and 2.30pm on Wednesday when thieves broke into an industrial unit on Station Approach, Team Valley Trading Estate and stole three sausage machines, including a mixer and mincer, worth almost £7,000. Anyone who was in the area around Station Approach over last weekend and saw anyone in the area or has any information about the whereabouts of this equipment is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Appeal after Gosforth burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Newcastle. The incident occurred between 5.55am and 8.30pm on Tuesday, January 31, when the offender forced entry to a house at Carham Close in Gosforth. Jewellery was stolen from inside before the offender made off from the scene. Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police Reminder To Lock Vehicles

Police are again urging drivers to remember to lock up their vehicles and remove all valuables after more thefts in Suffolk. Among the most recent incidents are cash being stolen from a car in Felixstowe around 1.15am on Wednesday. A blue Citroen parked in Bath Road in Felixstowe was entered and searched between 1am and 1.30am yesterday. Items were moved but nothing was stolen. A laptop computer and an iPod were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Wilkinson Drive in Kesgrave between 6.15pm on Monday 30 and 6am on Tuesday 31 January. A satellite navigation system and CD were stolen from a black VW parked at Bell Lane in Kesgrave between 6pm on Monday and 3pm on Tuesday, a mans wallet was taken from a silver Rover parked at Llewellyn Drift between 8pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday, and money and glasses were taken from a Subaru parked in Curtis Way between 6.30pm and 7.30am. Anyone with information about the Felixstowe incidents, or the male involved, should contact PC 1550 Vaughan, or anyone with information about the Kesgrave incidents should call Sgt 733 Street on the new non-emergency number 101.

15 Arrested In Scrap Yard Raids
Police have raided five scrap metal yards in Bristol and Somerset, arresting 15 people in connection with handling stolen goods. Avon and Somerset police confirmed that over 60 officers were joined by representatives from utility companies when they carried out the raids on Tuesday morning.

Nine appear in court over £53m Securitas raid
Nine people have appeared in court charged in connection with the £53 million robbery at a Securitas depot in Tonbridge, Kent. Six men and three women appeared at the Old Bailey via video link at the plea and case management hearing. The case has now been adjourned until October 3 and a provisional trial date has been set for April 16 next year.

Man remanded over Securitas raid
A 26-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with the £53 million Securitas depot robbery. Ermir Hysenaj, of Crowborough, East Sussex, is accused of conspiracy to rob in connection with the robbery, which took place on February 22. He was remanded in custody at Maidstone Crown Court today and is due to reappear in court on June 12.

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the £53 million Securitas robbery in Kent. Ermir Hysenaj, 27, from Crowborough, East Sussex appeared before Maidstone Magistrates Court charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. He was remanded in custody to reappear in court on April 24.

Two arrests over Securitas robbery
Police investigating the £53 million Securitas robbery in Kent have arrested two men. A 27-year-old man was arrested in Crowborough, East Sussex and an 18-year-old man was arrested in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The men are now being questioned at Tonbridge police station on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
