Old Bailey Hears 11-Year-Old Girl Tell Of Rape Ordeal
A jury has heard an 11-year-old describe how she was dragged into a north London park and subjected to three-hour ordeal during which she was repeatedly raped.
The Old Bailey heard the girl was walking home when she was forced into Jubilee Park in Enfield last November.
The court heard that her attacker to her to "stop moving or I will stab you".
18-year-old Opemipo Jaji, of Edmonton, north London, denies rape, claiming he is a victim of mistaken identity.
The jury was shown a recording of the girl's interview with the police.
Mr Jaji was arrested on suspicion of raping the girl a few days after she was attacked following a review of CCTV evidence.
It has been claimed that the defendant has "an interest in pre-pubescent girls" and had previously admitted sexually assaulting and robbing another girl dressed in her school uniform.
The court heard when his bedroom was searched a book about a little girl being sexually assaulted was found.
The trial continues.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Raping 15-Year-Old
Police investigating the alleged rape of 15-year-old girl in a park in south-west London have made an arrest. It is understood police were called to Grove Park in Carshalton at about 20:30 on Saturday to reports of a rape. Officers investigating the incident have arrested a 26-year-old on suspicion of rape.

A police inquiry is underway into the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl, in an attack believed to have been carried out by a number of men. Five men have been arrested after the teenager was raped and forced to engage in other sex acts in the Hoveringham Park area of Harehills, Leeds, on Saturday night.

A serial paedophile has been found guilty of the rape and attempted rape of an 11-year-old girl. Anthony Barron, 54, of Wantage, had pleaded guilty to 87 separate sexual offences against at least ten young girls - some as young as three years old - between 1995 and 2006.
