Missing Schoolgirl Found Safe
A schoolgirl who had been missing in Huddersfield has been found alive and well.
14-year-old Christie Nelson was last seen around 19:10 on 29 July at her home in the Lindley area of Huddersfield.
Police launched an appeal to the community for help locating her.
Bomb Disposal Examines Toxteth Package
Specialists from the Army's Explosive Ordnance Department (EOD) were called to a scene in Toxteth last night to examine a suspicious package.
At about 11:30 the EOD conducted two controlled explosions on the package as a precautionary measure.
No explosive materials were recovered from the scene.
An investigation into the matter is ongoing and CCTV is to be sought from the area.
The incident began when officers were called to Mulgrave Street in Toxteth at around 21:00 by a member of a the public.
On arrival officers found a suitcase in the road and closed Mulgrave Street as a precaution.
Man In Court Over Manslaughter
A man is due in court today over the death of 19-year-old Wesley Clutterbuck in Rochdale.
20-year-old Reece Key of Waithlands Road, Rochdale, will appear before Bury Magistrates' Court today on charges of manslaughter.
Police were called to Fleece Street shortly before 03:20 on the morning of June 29, following reports a man had been assaulted.
Officers discovered 19-year-old Mr Wesley, from Whitworth, with serious head injuries. He died on Sunday 30 June 2013.
Woman Raped After Sharing Taxi
A woman has been raped in a garden in Aylesbury by a man she had been introduced to in a club.
The 49-year-old victim danced with the man at Mendoza's cafe/bar, before sharing a taxi home with him.
The man raped the victim in a back garden in the area of Fowler Road.
He is described as Albanian, in his 40s and about 5ft 6in and slim.
He has mousy brown short hair and was wearing a short-sleeved top, jeans and black shoes.
Police want anyone who saw the man in the club, in Market Square, or where the rape happened to contact them.

£150k Fife Heroin Haul
Heroin valued at over £150,000 has been seized in Fife as part of an intelligence led operation by police. Raids undertaken by Fife Constabulary's Force Drugs Squad during the Easter weekend resulted in significant quantities of the Class A drug being recovered. Two people have also been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Search on for attacker who raped teenage girl
Police are searching for a man who raped a 13-year-old girl in Greater Manchester. The teenager was attacked as she walked home from the Texaco garage on Bury Road, in Bamford, Rochdale. She spotted a man as she turned down Half Acre Road who shouted at her to stop. He then followed her and pushed her down an alley where he raped her.

Third man arrested over Birmingham stabbing
A third man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man during the riots in Birmingham last weekend. West Midlands Police confirmed that a man in his early twenties, from Birmingham, had been arrested and was being questioned by police.

Police in Glasgow are continuing their search for a teenage Romanian girl, amid fears that she may have been abducted. Irina Carpaci, 15, disappeared after leaving her home in Daisy Street in Govanhill, Glasgow, around 11am on Saturday.
