Child Murderer Mark Bridger Attacked In Prison
The man jailed for the murder of five-year-old April Jones, has been attacked in prison.
It has been reported that Mark Bridger, who is serving a full-life term at Wakefield prison, was slashed across the face with a makeshift blade.
It is likely he will be left permanently scarred.
The Ministry of Justice would only confirm: "A prisoner from HMP Wakefield was taken to hospital on 7 July. The incident is being investigated by the police."
Bridger, 46, was convicted of abducting April as she played on her bicycle with a friend in the mid-Wales town of Machynlleth and murdering her. He was also found guilty of destroying, disposing of or concealing her remains, which have not been found.

April Jones Hunt Continues
The search for missing five-year-old April Jones has continued into its fifth day. Dyfed-Powys Police have arrested Mark Bridger, 46, on suspicion of murder. April, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was last seen by another child near her home in the Bryn Y Gog estate in Machynlleth, mid Wales, at around 7pm on Monday.

Funeral Service Held For April Jones
A funeral service has been held for April Jones, the five-year-old girl murdered by Mark Bridger almost a year ago. Family, friends, members of the local community, police and members of a search and rescue team that had helped search for the missing girl gathered in April's hometown of Machynlleth in mid Wales for the service.

Rented Home Of Mark Bridger Demolished
The former rented home of Mark Bridger, where he is believed to have murdered five-year-old April Jones, has been destroyed. According to reports, Carol and Paul Jones, April's parents, watched as the house was demolished. Bridger was sentenced to a whole-life term for the abduction and murder of April in October 2012.
