Dave Lee Travis Enters Not Guilty Plea To Indecent Assault Charges
Dave Lee Travis has pleaded not guilty to 14 charges of indecent assault and one of sexual assault.
The charges relate to allegations made by 11 females and date to between 1976 and 2007. The alleged victims were aged between 15 and 29 at the time.
The 68-year-old former BBC Radio 1 DJ, charged under his real name of David Patrick Griffin, was arrested by Operation Yewtree officers in November last year. Travis has maintained his innocence throughout.
At Southwark Crown Court Travis entered a not guilty plea to all charges.
The trial continues.

Dave Lee Travis is to be re-tried on a charge of indecent assault and sexual assault. Earlier this month the 68-year-old former Radio 1 DJ was found not guilty on 12 counts of indecent assault but the jury was unable to reach a verdict on two other charges.

Earlier on Thursday, the jury in the trial of the former BBC DJ had been instructed that a majority verdict would be accepted. This afternoon, the jury at Southwark Crown Court found the 68-year-old not guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault.

A serial attacker has been found guilty of carrying out a number of sexual assaults on girls and young women in Sussex. Mark Campbell, 38, from Donnington in Chichester, West Sussex, had denied all charges, which related to offences carried out in the Bognor Regis and Chichester areas of West Sussex between 1998 and 2004.
