Staff Suspended At Care Home Marked For Closure
Eleven staff have been suspended from a residential home marked for closure last week by Ceredigion Council.
It was announced last week that the council would close the Llandysul's Awel Deg Residential Home due to "staffing problems".
The homes 11 staff have now been suspended, with the council saying it was done to "allow independent investigators to examine issues linked to protecting vulnerable adults."
No details of the investigation have been revealed.
It is understood that the council intends to re-open the home as a dedicated dementia care facility.
