Two Dead In M40 Crash

Thames Valley Police have confirmed the deaths of two people in a crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire.

Police have said that two cars collided on the westbound carriageway between junction 2 for Beaconsfield and junction 3 for Loudwater just after 05:00 on Friday morning.

It is understood that the two victims were travelling together in the same vehicle.

Six other people are being treated in hospital in connection with the crash.

Two men have died following a collision on the M1 motorway in Leicestershire. The crash happened at around 2am on Monday, 12 October. It occurred close to junction 24 of the southbound carriageway and involved a blue Mazda Premacy and a white Ford transit van.

One man has died and four others are in still in hospital following a major road accident on the M40 on Saturday morning. Police said the crash, which happened between junction 9 and 10 at about 07:45, was a "series of accidents in the same place at the same time".

Resurfacing Works To Start On A46 Warwick Bypass
The Highways Agency is to resurface the A46 Warwick Bypass from Monday 31 March. Work will be carried out over overnight, Monday to Sunday, for two weeks and will require full closures of the A46 between its junctions with the M40 junction 15 and the A452. The work will take place from 10pm to 6am each night.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By A Lorry On M3
A woman has been killed while walking along the side of a motorway in Surrey. The woman, who has not yet been named, was struck by a lorry just after midnight on the M3 at Lightwater, near junction three. She was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood that police found a vehicle parked nearby, which is thought to have belonged to the woman.
