Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal M1 Collision
Police have appealed for any witnesses to a fatal road accident on the M1 in Leicestershire to come forward.
One man was killed and three more injured in a collision involving seven cars and a lorry.
Police said the accident occurred between junctions 21a and 22 on Tuesday night.
It is understood a woman has been arrested in connection with the collision.
Part of the northbound carriageway is likely to remain closed for most of Wednesday due to the seriousness of the crash.

Up To Four Suffer 'Life-Changing' Injuries In Troop Carrier Collision
More than 20 people have been injured, 4 or 5 seriously, in a collision involving three troop carriers on Salisbury Plain. Wiltshire Police were called to the accident at about 18:30 on Wednesday. The cause of the accident is being investigated but it is understood that 4 or 5 people have suffered "life-changing injuries".

Unlicensed Minicab Driver Jailed For Killing Passenger
An unlicensed minicab driver has been jailed for eight years for causing the death of a passenger. Matab Uddin, 59, of Blackshots Lane, Essex was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and fraud. The court heard how police were called on Sunday, 17 November 2013 at about 1:45am to reports of a man injured on Essex Road.

Two men have died in a road traffic collision near Wrexham. The deceased, aged 19 and 22, and from Shropshire, were travelling along the A495 Ellesmere Road, in the direction of Penley, when their car hit a tree. The incident, which involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa, happened at around 10.55pm on Thursday.

One killed in helicopter collision
One person has been killed after two RAF helicopters collided in mid-air, it has been reported. According to reports, at least two other people have been injured in the crash, which took place near Market Drayton in Shropshire, just before 3pm on Wednesday. The helicopters involved are believed to be Squirrel training helicopters from RAF Shawbury.
