Investigation Launches Into Indecent Assault Of 12-Year-Old
Police Scotland have launched an investigation into an alleged indecent assault on a 12-year-old girl in Aberdeen.
Police said the alleged assault took place in the Park Place/Princes Street area at about 08:45 on Tuesday morning.
The 12-year-old victim is believed to have been uninjured but "extremely distressed".
Police are searching for a man aged 30 to 40, of Indian appearance with short black hair.
He was wearing navy blue jeans, a red hooded top and a black jacket.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
Nearby schools have been alerted.

Former Minister Held After Alleged Assault
A former Welsh Office Minister has been arrested following an alleged assault on a Conservative party canvasser. Rod Richards, 61, a former Clwyd West MP has been accused of attacking the party worker who was canvassing door-to-door on Wednesday evening. He was held over night at Cardiff’s Fairwater Police Station for questioning.

Police Officers Suspended Over Alleged Assault
Three officers with Kent Police have been suspended over the alleged assault of a suspected shoplifter at a department store in Canterbury. CCTV footage appears to show officers grabbing the suspect by the throat before repeatedly punching him. The officers have been suspended as Kent Police investigate the incident, which happened on 11 July.

Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault at an Army training centre in Hampshire. According to reports, officers searched The Prince Philip Barracks in Bordon, Hampshire, following reports from a female soldier of an alleged attack. The incident is suspected to have taken place early on Saturday.

Police Quiz Amy Winehouse Over Alleged Assault
Soul singer Amy Winehouse is due to be questioned by police over an alleged assault. A spokesman for Ms Winehouse, 24, said she would voluntarily attend a central London police station on Friday. He said she would be questioned "in connection with an alleged incident" which occurred in Camden in the early hours of April 23.
