Mother And Baby Missing In Bristol

Police are urgently seeking to find a mother and baby who have gone missing from a maternity centre in Bristol.

Charlotte Bevan and her four-day-old baby went missing on Tuesday night.

Charlotte did not have any shoes on and is believed to be wearing hospital slippers. She did not have a coat and her baby was only wrapped in blankets.

Avon and Somerset police are concerned for both Charlotte and her baby's welfare and are urging Charlotte to contact them.

Officers have been searching the city centre throughout the night and appeals have been put out to bus drivers, taxi drivers and those travelling into work this morning.

Charlotte is aged 30, about 5ft 8ins tall, of average build with dark wavy hair.
