Woman's Body Discovered At Birmingham Property

A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was found at a property in Birmingham earlier today (4 December).

The woman's body was discovered at a property in Nechells Park Road just before 10.15am.

A 30-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

A post mortem will take place in due course.

The property is currently sealed off in order for a full examination of the scene to take place.

Mum And Daughter Murder Arrest
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, after a mother and daughter were stabbed to death in east London. The body of a woman in her 40s was found in Stansfield Road in Beckton around 7.30am. Officers investigating that incident were led to a property in Leamouth Road through identity documents discovered on the victim.

Woman Found Dead At Liverpool Property Identified
A woman found dead at a property in Huyton in Liverpool on Wednesday has been identified as being 45-year-old Michelle Teare. At about 12.50pm, emergency services were called to a property on Ashbury Road following the discovery of a body inside a property. Emergency services attended and found the body of Michelle Teare.

A property survey has found that the average cost of private rentals in England and Wales have risen by 2.1%, reaching a record high. According to the LSL Property Services produced report, average rents across England and Wales now stands at £757 per month. New Unit To Tackle Online Piracy
A new police unit has been announced that will seek to tackle intellectual property crimes such as online piracy and counterfeit goods. Intellectual Property Minister, Lord Younger and City of London Police Commissioner, Adrian Leppard launched the unit today. The government claims it will be one of the first units of its kind in the world.
