Body Found After 'Chemical Incident' In Kent

A body has been discovered following a 'chemical incident' at a property in Kent.

Six fire crews were called to the scene on Sunday (10 May) after 9:30pm.

Police and ambulance services retreated due to a strong toxic substance smell at the property in Tideswell Close, Braintree.

Firefighters entered the building and discovered a body.

An investigation into the incident is being carried out.

UK Troops Get Boost To Personal Protection

Woman's Body Discovered At Birmingham Property
A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was found at a property in Birmingham earlier today (4 December). The woman's body was discovered at a property in Nechells Park Road just before 10.15am. A 30-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

Man Dies In London Blaze
A man has died following a blaze at a block of flats in south-east London. Firefighters found the man collapsed on the fourth floor of the seven floor building at 11.30pm on Tuesday. London Fire Brigage (LFB) said that three engines and around 15 firefighters were deployed to tackle the fire at the building in Steadman Street, Walworth, Southwark.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

‘Piano Man’ returns home to Germany
The mysterious ‘Piano Man’ has been identified and has been discharged from hospital, it has emerged. West Kent NHS and Social Care Trust, which had been caring for the man since April, confirmed that he had been discharged from their care following a “marked improvement” in his condition.
