Five Stuffed Stag Heads Stolen In Northumbria

Five taxidermy stag heads have been stolen from a shed in Northumbria.

It is understood the theft happened on Kendor Grove, Morpeth sometime between 12pm on 20 May and 5.45pm on 24 May.

The items are believed to be of great sentimental value to the victim.

Police are appealing for information.

Elderly Man Dies After House Attack
An elderly man has died after being attacked in his home. Eighty-nine-year old Harold Lindley was found with serious facial injuries by neighbours in Walker Grove, Walker in April. The Northern Echo Newspaper has reported that Mr Lindley was a retired captain in the Green Howards regiment who had served in India, Africa and Egypt.

Third arrest over Sunderland stabbing
A third teenager has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a young father outside his home in Sunderland. Kevin Johnson, 22, was stabbed outside his home in Partick Road in the city, in the early hours of Saturday morning. Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on Saturday, while an 18-year-old man was arrested on Sunday.
