Body Recovered In Search Following Mill Explosion

Rescue workers searching for four people missing since an explosion and fire at Wood Flour Mills, in Bosley, near Macclesfield, have recovered a body.

Dorothy Bailey, 62, William Barks, 51, Jason Shingler, 38, and Derek Moore, 62, have not been seen since the blast on Friday.

Police have said that formal identification of the recovered body has not yet been made and that two searches are ongoing at two specific areas of the collapsed mill.

Cheshire Police added that the families of the four missing people have been informed of the find.

Second Body Found In Mill Explosion Search
Cheshire Constabulary has confirmed that a second body has been found in during a search of Wood Flour Mills in Bosley, Cheshire. On Friday 17 July, an explosion and fire destroyed the four-storey wood processing plant. Four workers were unaccounted for following the incident. On Sunday, police confirmed a body had been found.

Body Recovered From Bristol Canal
A body has been recovered during a search for a man who went missing while fishing. Police said a search operation was launched following reports that a 31-year-old man had been fishing with friends when he went missing at Netham Lock in Bristol on Saturday afternoon. It is understood divers recovered a body just before midnight on Saturday.
