Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Notting Hill Collision
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision on Notting Hill.
Police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a van in Pembridge Villas at about 23:50 on Thursday.
London Ambulance Service also attended the scene where a man was pronounced dead shortly after 01:00 on 7 August.
Enquiries are underway to establish his identity and inform next of kin.
Initial investigations suggest that the van had broken down in Pembridge Villas and the driver had got out of the vehicle. The car, a silver Bentley, was then in collision with the lorry and the driver.
The two male occupants of the Bentley - an 07 plate Continental GT - were witnessed to get out of the car and run from the scene - one along Pembridge Villas towards Westbourne Grove, the other along Dawson Place. Enquiries continue to trace them.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton will investigate.

No arrests, enquiries continue.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to a fatal road accident on the M1 in Leicestershire to come forward. One man was killed and three more injured in a collision involving seven cars and a lorry. Police said the accident occurred between junctions 21a and 22 on Tuesday night.

Witnesses Sought Over Fatal Road Accident
Police have appealed for witnesses of a fatal road traffic accident in Hayes, Hillingdon. Two men suffered critical injuries when a motorcycle collided with a car on Lansbury Drive at about 18:28 on Sunday, 27 September. One of the men, believed to be aged 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman has died in hospital after falling on a route E3 bus on Chiswick High Road, just after 13:30 on Tuesday, 18 August. The 77-year-old woman was taken to hospital by ambulance, where she was pronounced dead shortly before 17:00.

More than 20 people have been injured, 4 or 5 seriously, in a collision involving three troop carriers on Salisbury Plain. Wiltshire Police were called to the accident at about 18:30 on Wednesday. The cause of the accident is being investigated but it is understood that 4 or 5 people have suffered "life-changing injuries".
