Man Charged Over Shooters Hill Burglary And Sexual Assault

A 22-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault, aggravated burglary, fraud and possession of cannabis in connection with an incident on 01 July in Shooters Hill, south east London.

Daniel Awofisan, of Pearswood Road, Erith, was charged on Saturday and is due to appear before Bromley Magistrates' Court today (Monday).

Police said that their investigation into the incident is ongoing and no further information was available.

Two Charged Over Sexual Attack
Two men have been charged after a teenage girl was sexually attacked. Hadish Tekle and Filmon Tesfaldet, from Queensway, Rochdale, have been charged with sexual assault and are due before Bury and Rochdale Magistrates' Court on today, Monday. Manchester City footballer Robinho will not face any charges after serious sexual assault claims, police have said. The Brazil international, who had spoken to West Yorkshire Police over an alleged incident at the Space nightclub in Leeds, had strenuously denied any wrongdoing.

GP, Imran Khalid Khan, has been charged with 12 counts of sexual assault, including seven relating to a girl under the age of 13. The charges relate to five alleged incidents in 2007 in Woolpit, near Bury St Edmunds, and seven last year in Brandon.
