Man accused of daughter's murder appears in court
A man accused of murdering his 23-year-old daughter is expected to appear in court today.
Terence Rodgers, 55, of no fixed abode, will appear at Nottingham Crown Court via videolink.
Newlywed Chanel Taylor was found shot dead at her home in New Street, Huthwaite, on July 30. Mrs Taylor's body was found by her husband Lee – the couple had been married just seven weeks. Mr Rodgers had lived with the couple at the time of the murder.
Nottinghamshire police arrested Mr Rodgers in Annesley Woods, near Kirkby-in-Ashfield, on August 16 during a planned search by hundreds of officers.

Bride's father charged with her murder
The father of a 23-year-old woman who was found dead at her Nottinghamshire home last month has been charged with her murder. Rachel Nickell Murder Accused Appears In Court
A 41-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of former model Rachel Nickell on Wimbledon Common 15 years ago. Robert Napper appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court today, accused of the 23-year-old's murder. He was granted technical bail on the condition that he remains detained at Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital.

Multiple murder accused appears in court
A 34-year-old man has been appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court this morning charged with the murders of four people in north Yorkshire. Mark Hobson has been charged with the murders of 27-year-old twins, Claire and Diane Sanderson. He is accused of killing his girlfriend Claire Sanderson on July 7, and her sister Diane on July 17.

A 39-year old man charged with a double murder at Highmoor Cross, near Henley, has appeared in court today. Stuart Horgan, from Plaistow, London, appeared before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today charged with the murderers of his estranged wife Vicky Horgan, 27, and her 25-year-old sister Emma Walton.
