Australian plane crash victims named
Two British skydivers killed in a plane crash in Australia have been named.
Colin Peter Hicklin, 41, a skydiving instructor and Susanne Elaine Williams, 49, were killed along with three others when the plane – a Cessna 206 – crashed into a reservoir near the town of Ipswich, Queensland, shortly after take-off on Monday.
The Foreign Office confirmed that both Mr Hicklin and Ms Williams had been living in Queensland when the crash happened – Mr Hicklin in Mutdapilly and Ms Williams in Canungra.
The Ministry of Defence said that Ms Williams was married to an officer on an exchange programme to Australia, but said that he had not been involved in the crash.

Brian Scoffell, 57, the owner of the Brisbane Skydiving Centre, which operated the plane, survived the crash, along with 27-year-old Mandy Best from Brisbane. Both are reported to be in a stable condition in hospital.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has launched an investigation into the crash.
