Three men arrested in anti-terrorism investigation

Three men have been arrested under anti-terrorism laws in Scotland.

The men, Mohammed Asif Siddique, 24, and Mohammed Rafiq, 40, were detained at an address in Alva, Clackmannanshire.

The two men are understood to be the older brother and uncle of 20-year-old Mohammed Atif Siddique was arrested under the Terrorism Act in the same town on April 13.

A third man, a 46-year-old who has not yet been named, was arrested later on Monday afternoon, following searches at another property in Bridge of Allan, near Stirling.

The men are being held at Govan Police Station in Glasgow.

Man Arrested Over Kieran McGrath Murder
Detectives investigating the death of a man outside a police station in Greater Manchester have arrested three men. Kieran McGrath, 26, was shot outside the Sheldon Arms pub on 04 October last year. He then drove himself to Ashton-under-Lyne police station and collapsed outside its door. He died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.

An elderly woman suffered a broken nose when she was thrown to the floor by robbers as she walked home from the shops. The 78-year-old woman was recovering in hospital today after the ordeal in a busy Solihull street yesterday morning.

Three Men Arrested Over Cannabis Find
Cannabis worth an estimated £20,000 has been recovered from an address in Harrow, police have reported. Police attended Oxleay Road in Harrow shortly after 4am on Wednesday, following reports of a group of men acting suspiciously.
