Six remanded following terror raids
A youth and five men have been remanded in custody on charges in connection with an alleged terrorist recruitment network.
In all 10 people have now been charged following police raids in London at the beginning of September.
The six defendants were due to appear before City of Westminster Magistrats Court today.
Muhammad al-Figari, 42, from Tottenham faces charges in connection with terrorism training and the possession of materials likely to be of use for terrorism; Atilla Ahmet, 42, from Lewisham who is charged with incitement to murder and commit acts of terroroism; Moussa Brown, 40, from Walthamstow was charged withproviding and receiving training in the use of firearms; Saloum Joh, 21, from Putney faces a charge of possessing a shotgun; Kadar Ahmed, 19, of Plaistow faces charges in connection with terrorism training.
A 17-year-old from Camberwell, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces charges in connection with terrorism training.
Police raids on September 1 led to the arrest of 14 people. Two were subsequently released and two are still being held in custody. Four men who appeared in court on Tuesday were remanded in custody.

Sally Anne murder trial set
A date has been set for the trial of the man accused of murdering teenage model Sally Anne Bowman. Mark Dixie, 36, of no fixed address, appeared at the Old Bailey via video-link on Thursday. He was remanded in custody until December 15 for his next court appearance and the trial date was set for March 12.

British Soldier Faces Terror Charges
A British soldier is to be charged with explosives and terrorism offences according to the Crown Prosecution Service. Ryan McGee, 19, from 5th Battalion the Rifles, is facing the charges over claims he made an improvised bomb. He is also alleged to have had a copy of the bomb-making manual 'The Anarchist Cookbook'.
