Girl charged over schoolgirl stabbing
A 14-year-old girl has been charged following the stabbing of another 14-year-old girl at a school in Bristol.
The stabbing took place near Filton High School on Monday morning, when the victim was stabbed in the stomach. She remains in hospital, where she is said to be in a critical but stable condition.
The other girl was charged with wounding with intent and with possession of a bladed implement.
She appeared before North Avon Youth Court on Tuesday, where she was remanded to local authority care.
The case was adjourned until August 29 at the same court.

Young Teen Charged With Attempted Murder
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of another 14-year-old boy on Monday at an address in Ladywell, near Catford. Youth workers administered first aid to the young teen, who is thought to have been attacked after leaving a nearby youth centre, before paramedics arrived.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a girl, 13, was stabbed outside her school in southeast London. The incident occurred outside the Sacred Heart School in Camberwell on Wednesday afternoon. The gymslip victim sustained two minor stab injuries, one each to her chest and thigh, police said.

Girl Arrested Following Stabbing Incident
A 15-year-old girl has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Reading. The girl was arrested after a 16-year-old boy was hurt in Gainsborough Road on 7 June. The boy was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition. Police arrested the girl on suspicion of GBH with intent.
