Girl Remanded Over Teenager's Stabbing
A 15-year-old girl has appeared in court charged with stabbing a teenage mother to death in Newcastle.
Samantha Madgin, 18, was attacked last Thursday night during an argument between two groups of people in Wallsend, North Tyneside.
She died from multiple stab wounds.
A 15-year-old girl appeared before North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, where she was remanded in custody to appear before Newcastle Crown Court on August 15.
Two men - Terry Davidson, 18, and David Kerr, 35, both from Walker in Newcastle - also appeared at the same court today charged with affray. They were also remanded in custody to appear before Newcastle Crown Court on August 15.

Lorry Driver Remanded Over Girl's Abduction
A man arrested over the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl he met online, has today been remanded in custody charged with child abduction. Lorry driver Robert Williams, 49, of Whitburn, West Lothian, Scotland, appeared at Grimsby Magistrates' Court, where he declined to enter a plea during a brief appearance.

A 14-year-old girl from West Yorkshire has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of her 16-year-old sister. The teenager appeared before Bradford Magistrates' Court on Thursday. She has been remanded into the care of the local authority and is due to appear before Calderdale Youth Court in Halifax on April 4.
