Murder Inquiry: Stabbed Greengrocer Dies

Police have launched a murder inquiry after a 65-year-old greengrocer died in hospital after being stabbed in the head with a screwdriver in a brutal attack on Tuesday night.

Harry Holland was stabbed near his home in the Norfolk Drive area of Belfast as he tried to prevent his delivery van being stolen.

He had been on a life support machine in hospital, but died on Wednesday night.

Police are continuing to question four teenagers - two boys aged 17 and two girls aged 15 - in connection with the investigation.

The officer leading the murder investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Glen Wright, said: "This was a horrendous incident. I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to the whole community to assist us with our investigation."

A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Murder Investigation Launched After 3-Year-Old Found In Hotel Swimming Pool
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a three-year-old girl at a hotel in Lancashire. It is understood that the child died after being pulled from a swimming pool at Dalmeny Hotel on South Promenade in St Annes. Emergency services responded to a report that a child was "drowning" on Thursday morning.
