Morocco Photo 'Is Not Madeleine'
A girl in a photograph taken in Morocco is not missing Madeleine McCann, according to reports.
It has been reported that journalists have said that the girl in the photo, which was taken by a Spanish tourist at the end of August, is from a local family.
The photo, which was being examined by experts, showed a group of people, including a woman who was carrying a fair-haired female child on her back.
There have been other reported sightings of Madeleine in Morocco. However, earlier on Wednesday, the McCanns' spokesperson Clarence Mitchell said that although the girl in the photo did bear some resemblance to Madeleine, he would not comment on the McCanns' reaction to the photo because the previous sightings had amounted to nothing.
The McCanns remain formal suspects in their daughter's disappearance. Both deny being involved in her disappearance.
Madeleine disappeared from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in the Algarve in Portugal on May 3.
