Man Held In Cumbria Murder Probe
A man is being questioned on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found in her home in Cumbria at the weekend.
The body of 52-year-old Nicola Bisset was found by in her home in Rivington Park in Appleby on Saturday, after North Yorkshire Police received a tip-off.
The cause of death is still unknown.
A 53-year-old man from Largs in Scotland was arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after the discovery and is being questioned by police.

Arrests Follow Headless Body Discovery
Police investigating the discovery of the headless body of a man in north-west London have arrested a man on suspicion of murder. It is understood that the man, believed to be in his 40s, was arrested in Alvaston in Derby on Thursday night. Another man and a woman were arrested at the same address on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Double Murder Suspect Arrested
Following the arrest on Sunday morning of double murder suspect James Allen police have appealed for people to check on any friends and relatives who could have come into contact him. Detectives made the appeal after 36-year-old Allen was arrested early on Sunday after being spotted by an off-duty officer on his way to work in Leeds.

Police in Manchester have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body on Friday morning. Police say that the body of a 38-year-old man was found outside a property on Otter Drive in Cheetham Hill at about 07:30 this morning. They say that the man had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body at a flat believed to be the home of an MI6 employee. The body of the man, who is white and in his 30s, was found in a sports bag in the bathroom of the top floor flat in Alderney Street in Pimlico, central London on Monday afternoon.
