Two Held Over Cheshire Toddler Death
Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a two-year-old boy in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Paramedics were called to a house in the town around 10.30pm on Tuesday and when the police arrived, they subsequently arrested a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman at the scene.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place on the toddler's body later today.

Bail Granted In Toddler Death Probe
Two people who were arrested after the discovery of the body of a toddler earlier this week have been bailed. Cheshire Police have released the pair - a 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man - but they are to return to a Runcorn police station at a later date.

Thousands of bottles of Tixylix cough and cold medicines, manufactured by drug company Novartis, are being recalled over fears that plastic may have gotten into the medicines. It is understood that Novartis has been made aware of a possible fault in the tamper seal of the bottles.

Man Arrested In Toddler Death Probe
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a three-year-old girl. The toddler was brought to hospital on Friday but died in the early hours of Saturday morning. A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man from Beck Road, Shiregreen, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and inquiries are continuing.

Police are continuing to question one man in connection with the death of a two-year-old girl in Leeds on Sunday. The toddler, named in media reports as Casey Leigh Mullen, was found dead at an address in the Gipton area of the city on Sunday.
