Community Policeman Run Over
Another police officer has been run over while trying to tackle a suspect.
This time it was a Police community support officer involved in the incident which happened when he was investigating a complaint about drug dealing in east London.
He was trying to talk to the driver of the car when he was hit and is now recovering in hospital after been run over by a suspect.
Scotland Yard said he was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car, a Nissan Primera drove off.

Terror suspect hands himself into police
A man who went missing while subject to a terrorism control order has appeared in court after surrendering to police custody. Ceri Bullivant, who was previously known as 'AG', appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday morning. He had handed himself into police at Belgravia police station in London on Monday.

Elderly Woman Dies After Mugging
A murder investigation is underway after an elderly woman died after a mugging in north-west London. The 81-year-old, who has not yet been named, suffered fatal injuries after the suspect grabbed her handbag. She died from her injuries in Northwick Park Hospital eight hours after the incident.

Met Officer Died After Chasing Suspect
It has emerged that a Metropolitan Police officer who died while on duty in north London was chasing a suspect at the time. Det Con Adele Cashman, 30, was taken to hospital after collapsing in Camden around 21:45 on Monday.
