Woodlands Body Identified As Missing Kirsty

The body of a woman found dumped in woodlands has been formally identified as missing model Kirsty Grabham.

The 24-year-old, from Swansea, south Wales was found by police search teams yesterday alongside the busy M4 near Laleston, Bridgend.

She was last seen getting into a taxi that picked her up from her friend's home in Dan y Graig Road in the Port Tennant area of the city, just after 2pm on Saturday 28 March.

She had been at a local nightclub with friends earlier in the evening.

A 25-year-old man - understood to be her husband, Paul Grabham - has been held in connection with her disappearance.

"The body of a female that was found in the Laleston area of Bridgend near the M4 on Monday April 6 has been formally identified as that of 24-year-old Kirsty Grabham," a police spokesman said.

"A family liaison officer is continuing to support the family.

"The 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of her murder remains in custody at Swansea Central Police Station."

Prostitute Jailed For Killing Wife
A man has been sentenced to a minimum of 19 years in prison for murdering his wife and dumping her body inside a suitcase. Paul Grabham, 26, had denied killing his 23-year-old wife Kirsty, whose body was left beneath the M4. The couple had worked as prostitutes, operating from their Rosehill Terrace, Mount Pleasant, Swansea.

'Unexplained' Pub Death Probed
A woman who died after visiting a Plymouth pub on Easter Sunday has been named as Kirsty Thompson. A post-mortem examination has been completed on the 22-year-old's remains and the cause of death has been recorded as inconclusive at this time.

Missing Lincolnshire teenager found in Torquay
The missing Lincolnshire teenager Kirsty Blakey has been reunited with her parents, following on from a nationwide police appeal yesterday. Kirsty and her 26-year-old boyfriend, John Wayne Marshall, 26, from the St Giles estate in Lincoln, presented themselves at a Torquay police station early this morning.
