LBS (Lagan Building Solutions Ltd) are one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of natural roofing, cladding and flooring products.

1. Roofing
In terms of roofing products LBS are the county’s leading distributor of natural roofing slates. We are the proud owners of Welsh Slate Ltd which includes the famous Penrhyn 'Bangor Blue' quarry in North Wales – slates from this quarry are universally recognised as the best quality roof covering in the world and cover the roofs of some of the county’s (and indeed the world’s) finest and most prestigious buildings. Bangor Blue slates have been sold into Ireland since the 15th century and they have a lifespan measured in centuries.

In addition to our own quarries in North Wales, we also import a range of quality slates from various counties around the world including Spain, North America, Brazil and China. All our range of roofing slates adhere to BS12324: 2 and are covered with comprehensive quarry backed guarantees. We also deal in a comprehensive range of clay roofing tiles which can bring character and warmth to any building.

Finally we complement our roofing portfolio by offering a comprehensive range of roof space ventilation, membranes and accessory products.

Natural Slate
Natural slate is the best roofing material in the world and has been used by man for thousands of years. Not only will good quality slate outlast other roofing materials, but when fitted properly, it will frequently outlive the lifetime of its building. The lively market for second hand slates bears this out.

Clay Tiles
The LBS range of clay roof tiles offer a natural alternative to slate and bring warmth and character to any building. They are available in a wide variety of permanent colours and textures which over time will mellow, but never fade. Clay tiles can withstand the worst of the weather and actually improve in appearance over time, enhancing the aesthetics of the roof.

Fibre Cement Slates
Fibre Cement slates are a man made pitched roofing material designed to emulate the characteristics of natural slates. The Jutland slate is an attractive flat, blue black square edged fibre cement slate that is manufactured using Portland cement together with a non-asbestos formulation of superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres. Jutland slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed. They are finished with a high quality, semi-matt acrylic coloured coating to the top face and edges and a tinted, high performance binder to the back face.

2. Cladding
Z-Stone is an innovative natural stone cladding system available in Ireland exclusively from LBS. It consists of real pieces of natural stone placed onto a cement backed reinforced panel. The panel comes in a ''Z'' shaped format to allow the seamless integration of joints on the finished façade. The panels are the simply applied with a bonding agent to the exterior or interior wall. The end result is a beautiful natural stone wall.

3. Flooring
LBS offer an exclusive range of natural stone sourced from handpicked manufacturers around the World. We deal in both natural stone and timber flooring. Our range of natural stone includes marble, limestone and slate sourced from leading quarries around the world. Our range of timber flooring includes solid wood, engineered wood and laminates. We work on both private and commercial schemes and our highly qualified sales team can provide expert advice on every job.
