PSNI Appeal After Man Attacked And Robbed In East Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked and robbed in east Belfast.

The incident happened on the Albertbridge Road just after midnight on Monday.

The victim was walking home from Belfast city centre when a gang of men struck him from behind.

He was reportedly punched him a number of times in the face by one of the men.

The attacker had a tribal tattoo on his left arm running up to his neck. He was wearing a black tracksuit top and bottoms with white stripes.

The male has been described as being the oldest in a group of three or four other males who also kicked and punched the man.

The victim made his way home and realised his wallet and iPhone had been stolen during the assault.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Fermanagh
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Co Fermanagh. A 42-year-old man died in the crash which happened on the Belfast Road in Brookeborough at around 8.35am on Friday, 08 June. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Police are appealing to anyone who may have dash can footage to contact them.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

Police Appeal Following Distraction Burglary In North Belfast
Police are appealing for information following a distraction burglary in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Berlin Street area at around 1.30pm on Monday. Two men called to the door of a man's house and told him that he needed new guttering, and he would have to check the back of the property.

Man Injured In Shooting Incident In North Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in north Belfast on Saturday, 25 August, 2018. A man, aged in his 30s, suffered a gunshot wound to his leg in an incident at about 10.15pm. Police said that the incident was "particularly concerning" as it took place at the same time as a local community event.
