Using state of the art engineering, the expert technicians at Nu-Luk Wheels repair all types and makes of alloy wheels, from simple scratches, dents and buckles to an OEM quality finish. All wheels are chemically stripped, blasted, powder coated, painted and lacquered to OEM finish.

Technical Info.
Nu-Luk Wheels utilise the latest state of the art CNC machinery and the most up to date techniques to restore alloy wheels to their original beauty. Almost any damage to a rim is repairable, including wheel straightening and alloy welding.

Over 400 wheel profiles can be dialled in for machine facing. Aluminium media blasting follows an initial descaling process. The process is completed with a powder primer and then wet spray coated incorporating a pristine oven-baked finish.

The Process
At Nu Luk wheels we pride ourselves in providing a total refurbishment of your wheel front and back, not just a local repair on the damaged area.

Chemical Stripping
Unlike many of our competitors Nu Luk will chemically strip every rim before restoration; this essential process ensures that your rim is finished to the original manufacturer’s standard.

Shot-blasting
After the chemical strip process the wheel is shot-blasted by hand to ensure that all previous layers of lacquer and paint have been removed leaving a bare metal surface in preparation for the powder coating stage.

Welding
Any damage to a wheel rim is TIG welded and then remachined to ensure that the rim is structurally sound and will be undetectable when painted.
