Man Charged With David Black Murder

A man has been charged in connection with the murder of prison officer David Black.

He is due to appear at Lisburn court on Thursday morning.

Mr Black, 52, was shot as he drove to work on the M1 on 1st November.

A 44-year-old man and a woman, 31, were arrested in Dublin on Thursday.

Duffy Released Over Prison Officer Murder
Colin Duffy has been released following his arrest for the murder of prison officer David Black. Prominent republican Duffy, 44, and another 31-year-old man were detained in Lurgan on Friday. The two men have now been released unconditionally, but a 29-year old man is still being questioned following his arrest in the Irish Republic on Friday.

Man Charged Over David Black Murder
A man has been charged with the murder of prison officer David Black, the PSNI has revealed. Detectives from Serious Crime Branch have charged a 33-year-old man with the murder of Prison Officer David Black on 1 November 2012. The man has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
